I attended a cold water workshop with Ruth. I was apprehensive, however, Ruth explained the structure to the workshop and was with us at every point through the session.
I was afraid of the unknown in the build up to stepping into the pod, but Ruth provided reassurance. It’s hard to imagine explain the feeling when you get in and sit down into the cold water. I came away feeling calm and invigorated.
There is no better way than to start your day with cold water therapy, it really sets you up for a good day. Ruth is a brilliant mentor and offered as much or little guidance and support as required. This spot is ideal for first time and frequent cold water users as it offers the privacy a lot of people need, whilst not being in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended; thank you Ruth!
I’m not a cold person at all… but now I’m dipping myself into chilly water by choice!
I recently completed Ruth’s cold water therapy course, and I can honestly say it’s completely changed how I feel about the cold. I was not someone who liked the idea of plunging into freezing water… far from it! But Ruth has a real gift for making you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Her setup is perfect: calming, professional, and equipped with everything you need to feel safe, supported, and comfortable (even when you’re about to get in icy water!).
I’d recommend Ruth to anyone, whether you’re a total beginner or just curious about the benefits of cold water therapy. You won’t regret it.
Don’t let the words ‘cold water’ put you off!!! I was so nervous to do my first session but oh my god I can’t wait for my next one! It’s surprising how relaxing it is and how rejuvenated you feel afterwards. Ruth is amazing and walks you through every step, it was so comforting to have her there to guide me through breathing techniques. The sauna is UNMATCHED. My lungs have actually never felt clearer than they did after the tub hahaha!! Thank you Ruth, I massively recommend everyone gives cold water a go!
